Montreal’s Oscar-nominated composer Benoît Charest has written over twenty film scores—including 2004’s acclaimed Triplets of Belleville.
In between performing the film’s soundtrack live at Melbourne Recital Centre, Benoît and friends will present two gigs at The Toff in Town, freely traversing late 60s to early 70s psychedelic-afro-funk-jazz and standards from the era.
Joined by special guest Peter Knight from the Australian Art Orchestra, you might even find yourself crooning to a famous soundtrack theme or two…
