His uncanny ability to take familiar phrases and transform them through compelling, long-form musical meditations has seen him draw acclaim from both aficionados and more casual listeners, while these same skills have brought about collaborations with modern greats such as Charlie Haden and Pat Metheny (2014 Melbourne Festival).
