What lights glow in hidden spaces? What sounds echo in darkness? Dive beneath the surface of things in a pulsating program of moving images and live music.

The stairwells and byways of the dynamic MADA, MUMA precinct at Monash University’s Caulfield Campus are taken over by the moving image, light and sound in this unique project curated by James Hewison, Head of Film Programs at ACMI.

Witness new work by the likes of Australia’s most prolific and surprising documentary filmmaker, Amiel Courtin-Wilson; Super 8mm chronicler of the margins, Rick Charnoski; and the poet of cinematic decay, Bill Morrison. Add to this a series of live improvisations by some of the country’s most innovative musicians, and you might not want to find your way back out of this rabbit hole.
