Enter a labyrinth that has been created for you alone, inspired by the Hans Christian Andersen tale of the traveller who lost their shadow. The scale of your physical journey is matched only by the emotional distance you will be carried. Listen, smell, taste and touch your way into an underworld that unfurls around you, and be prepared to happen upon memories you’ve long forgotten and dreams of the future you didn’t realise you had.
From its home in Barcelona, Teatro de los Sentidos (Theatre of the Senses) has been weaving works of extraordinary intimacy and immersiveness for 25 years. For the first time Melbourne can witness this astonishing work for one person at a time: a depth charge plumbing the most inner recesses of your being.
